Lori J. Overholt
VSA Association Management, LLC
Lori Overholt is the President for VSA Association Management, LLC. A locally owned and operated company, VSA Association Management specializes in Condominium, Towne home and High Rise community management. After graduating from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with an Accounting Concentration in 1988, Ms. Overholt began a 10 year career in public accounting as a CPA where she specialized in small business consulting and tax planning. She then entered private industry accounting where she held the position of Vice President of Finance for Mayfair Management, a company specializing in managing assisted living facilities before joining Dollar Tree Stores as the Manager of Taxes responsible for all aspects of tax preparation for the large retail chain.
She joined the VSA group as its Chief Financial Officer in June of 2005, Ms. Overholt began a successful track record of streamlining operations and was the Chief Operating Officer from 2007 until March 2009. Lori was appointed to the Common Interest Community (CIC) Board in 2015 and was awarded the Virginia Business CFO Award in 2016.
Lori is a 2008 graduate of Lead Hampton Roads, a ten month Leadership Training Program focusing on issues impacting the Hampton Roads region and is the Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Beach Travel and Tourism Foundation which promotes and recognizes the invaluable contributions that the city’s hotels, motels, restaurants, retail stores and other commercial businesses make to support our excellent economy and outstanding quality of life. Lori previously served as Chairperson of the Board for the East Coast Surfing Championships, voted in the top 20 Events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society and one of America’s Best Festivals by U.S. News and World Report.
Michele R. Colson, AMS®, CMCA®, PCAM®
SVP & Community Manager
VSA Association Management, LLC
Michele Colson is the SVP & Community Manager for VSA Association Management, LLC. She is also the President of the Owners Associations for three timeshare resorts currently managed by VSA Management Corp. She began in the association management industry in 1996 and specializes in the property management, renovation and reserve-study arenas.
Mrs. Colson earned a Master of Business Administration Degree from Saint Leo University in 2004 and the Virginia Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) license in 2012. She has been registered Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) since June 2007 and an Association Management Specialist (AMS) since January 2008.
Mrs. Colson is SEVA-CAI member and served as the President for the Virginia Resort Development Association (VRDA) that was recently merged with the American Resort Developers Association (ARDA-VA), which promotes and encourages high ethical standards and enhancement of general knowledge in all areas of the recreational land industry and is also Board Member of the Virginia Beach Hotel/Motel Association. Michele is a 2009 graduate and serves on the Alumni Counsel of Lead Hampton Roads (LHR), a ten month Leadership Training Program focusing on issues impacting the Hampton Roads region. Michele also volunteers for the local chapter of Junior Achievement delivering economic education classes to the students of Hampton Roads and the Food Bank of Hampton Roads.
Mrs. Colson resides in Virginia Beach with her husband, Barry who recently retired as a Master Chief from the United States Navy after a 30-year military career. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys traveling with her friends and family and playing golf.
Kimberly D. Mills
Asst. Community Manager

Kimberly Mills is the Assistant Community Manager for VSA Association Management, LLC. She began in the association management industry in 2012 and specializes in the property management, renovation and reserve-study arenas.
Mrs. Mills is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Government with an emphasis on Pre-Law from Liberty University. Upon graduation, she plans to attend Law School and obtain her masters in Juris Doctor and International Relations to land as a Constitutional Attorney.
Mrs. Mills resides in Hampton with her dog Charlie Cooper and son Harrison whom is a high school junior and plans on attending Virginia Tech to study engineering. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys snowboarding, playing guitar and relaxing on the beach.
Contractor Services Consultant
As the Contractor Services Consultant for VSA Association Management, Carl Gress provides professional consulting as needed to support our clients with large scale projects. Carl began his career at VSA Management Corp. in 1994 as Engineering Supervisor. In 2000, Mr. Gress was promoted to Director of Engineering and Construction, and in 2006 he was promoted to Director of Operations.
Mr. Gress graduated from Penn State University in 1978, with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. His entire professional career has centered on manufacturing, construction, building maintenance and property management. Mr. Gress takes great pride in his planning, scheduling, and negotiation skills. He has built a dedicated, loyal and trustworthy team of local contractors and vendors and has created the environment and systems to enhance communities with sustainability efforts and ADA compliance.
Mr. Gress is also adept at working with CAD, reading blueprints, is Mold and Mildew Remediation Certified, Universal HVAC Certified, Pool Certified, and Effective Project Management Certified. Mr. Gress resides in Virginia Beach and enjoys fitness, following professional and collegiate sports, especially Pennsylvania teams and volunteers for the Food Bank of Hampton Roads. He retired from VSA Management Corp. in August 2017 and began his professional consultation services to VSAAM.
