If you love vacationing as much as we do, we know you enjoy your VSA Resorts vacation ownership.

The dream of finding that perfect vacation spot became a reality when you purchased with VSA Resorts. Spending quality time with the people you love improves health and build relationships. These moments are truly priceless.

In fact, the vacation industry grew last year by nearly 7%, reaching a whopping $57 billion in sales. The numbers are expected to soar even higher for 2020.

More and more people are realizing the benefits of getting away from it all.

However, we all know life circumstances can change. Financial burdens or family situations might make it difficult to maximize your ownership benefits.

We are here to help.

VSA Resorts wants to make your experience enjoyable, even if that means helping you step away from your ownership.

Recently, there has been an influx of companies promising to help you get out of your contract or sell your timeshare.  You’ve seen them on television, heard them on radio and social media and may have even received unsolicited mail from them.  Buyer beware!

Once you sign anything with a third party company, VSA Resorts likely will not be in a position to assist you. That means if you signed or paid a company like American Resource Management Group, LLC, to get you out of your timeshare you would lose your money and would still be legally responsible for your timeshare.  Review the link and you will see this company was sued under the Unfair Trade Practices Act and other laws through the use of false and misleading advertising, and they subsequently filed bankruptcy.  And they’re not alone.

“The idea is you bought with us – stick with us – and call us for ALL your timeshare needs from relinquishment to sales to usage,” said Nadine Paniccia, vice president of sales and marketing at VSA Resorts.  “If we cannot create an exit opportunity for you, we will refer you to a reputable company that may.”

VSA Resorts’ goal is to assist in your ownership every step of the way, and to protect you from fraudulent and predatory exit companies. VSA Resort representatives will discuss our relinquishment program, the Traveler’s Promise, with you.

“When people purchase with VSA Resorts, they create a lifetime of memories,” Paniccia said. “We want to protect them from companies who may be bad characters in the relinquishment space and ruin them, personally and financially.”

If you are interested in vacation ownership or want to know more about the terms of your contract, or how to relinquish it, call 1-800-955-9700 before you entertain any third party company that make empty promises.

Stayed tuned for Part 2 of our series, Getting out of your timeshare, where we will discuss selling your timeshares, and the best way to go about it.
