Courtesy Patrol Officer

VSA Resorts is currently searching for a Courtesy Patrol Officer who is a master in the art of multi-tasking, provides exceptional customer service, and pays close attention to details. The Courtesy Patrol Officer provides a resort presence to monitor the property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal activity during overnight hours, emergency and/or foul weather conditions, and special events. They must be able to follow strict requirements to promote safety and a harmonious atmosphere for employees and guests. They support efforts to meet guest satisfaction goals, including RCI Distinction expectations. This position supports all functional officers, directors, and managers.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Periodically patrols the building, units, and grounds. Performs periodic maintenance and vacancy inspections on clean/vacant units and reports discrepancies via proper channels and reports discrepancies as appropriate to the management. Watches for and reports irregularities, such as fire hazards, leaks, and open or unlocked security doors.
  • Examines doors, windows, gates, and all community areas, and amenities, patio and/or balcony furniture, including the restaurant, promoting a secure environment at all times. Observes all activity on property and observes departing guests to guard against theft of company property.
  • Warns violators of rule infractions, such as noise complaints, loitering, trespassing, unauthorized parking or entry, and smoking in a firm but courteous manner. Aides in the eviction of guests and/or trespassers after receiving authorization as appropriate.
  • Records, reports and mitigates property damage, unusual incidents and malfunctions of equipment.
  • Supports other departments in light cleaning, maintenance, house-keeping, marketing, and HR activities when needed.
  • Responsible for proper following proper procedures for all emergency procedures.
  • Provides on-site activities, area attractions, events and other vacation information to owners/guests. Solicits client referrals, timeshare tour opportunities, online satisfaction reviews and customer feedback for improvement. Performs related duties as assigned or as situation dictates.

Certificates: Security Training Certificate (VA DCJS Unarmed Security Guard Certification preferred)

  • Book tour appointments
  • Establish and maintain a referral program
  • Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork to support the marketing tour generation program (i.e. daily call log, reservation forms, etc)

Maintenance Technician Position

VSA Resorts is seeking an outgoing, conscientious, customer service focused individual to join our team as an Entry Level Resort Maintenance Attendant. In order to be considered for the position, the following requirements must be met:

  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.

  • Satisfactory drug screen result is required.

The ideal Entry Level Resort Maintenance Attendant performs the following primary responsibilities while maintaining a professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor:

  • Responsible for general building maintenance, service calls, planned preventative maintenance, pool upkeep and light landscaping duties.
  • Responsible for overall building knowledge and identifies, reports and minimizes abnormal maintenance conditions.
  • Responds to emergency situations and demonstrate full knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Responds to daily log entries for maintenance requests & support from guests and other departments.
  • Produces reports for housekeeping/maintenance and ensures all logs are up to date.
  • Responsible for tracking, maintaining safe condition, proper use and inventory of maintenance supplies, tools and resources.
