East Coast Surfing Championships

The Virginia Beach East Coast Surfing Championship is the longest running amateur surfing competition in North America and the second longest running in the world.  Held at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront annually in the month of August, the event offers sporting events for everyone:  Surfing, 5K Run, Volleyball, Cornhole Tournament, Extreme Sports and many others.  For the spectator in all of us, there are free concerts by national recording artists, a Miss ECSC Swimsuit contest, great food and vendor displays to pique anyone’s interest.
